Higher Ground

We want to provide a community space where people can enjoy healthy food with quality coffee and tea. We value the building of healthy relationships and community integration for all people. Higher Ground has operated before as a coffee shop in Gregg Street.

Sport Works

We value the health of our body, soul and spirit. For that we encourage people to take part in sporting activities as a way to keep our bodies healthy. We have regular sessions where we teach people how to play volleyball and have fun with it. For those that love football, there is a weekly session organised for fun and exercise. Please contact us for more details.

Inclusion Works

This is a project for those with a physical and/or intellectual disability. We understand the value of belonging and inclusion within a community. We are developing a Sensory Room for children and adults with sensory disability. Our team is dedicated to make the best of every opportunity to include children and adults with any kind of disability.

Sheltered Housing

Homelessness is a frightening prospective and as a church we want to be able to provide temporary accommodation for those who are homeless or in the process of acquiring permanent accommodation. It is also vital for those recovering from addiction or trying to move away from a toxic environment to be able to have temporary shelter.

Music Works

Our music ministry is developed to encourage the church to worship and not just sing songs. We want to encourage all those with a gift and a desire for singing to get involved and grow in their gifts. The music team meets every first Saturday in the month for fellowship, rehearsal and practical workshops for different instruments.

Prayer Works

Prayer is the power engine of everything we do. We meet regularly, on Wednesdays, to pray for one another, for the church and for the community. We believe that prayer works, therefore we pray for the sick and the needy. We want to offer prayer to all those in need of prayer support. For how that works please visit www.prayerworks.co.uk

Family Support

We value family as being the foundation of every society. A healthy and loving environment at home will create healthy characters in our children. We are passionate about family and encourage every family, including the single parents family, to be part of this amazing project. We will be offering parenting seminars and workshops with other specific activities for family.

Education Works

This is a project that supports Primary and Secondary school children with their Reading and Writing skills. It also develops courses for the elderly on basic computer and internet skills. Our centre is equipped with a computer room. We value good education and support for all people to achieve and do better in their education.

Creativity Works

This is a project that encourages people who are creative or passionate about the creative arts. We want to use our creativity and the artistic skills to share the wonderful message of God’s transforming love. Art is an amazing tool for allowing people to express themselves.

Leadership Works

Every church must be led by a group of spiritual leaders who understand their responsibility and fulfil it with joy. This project is not just about church leadership, but any leadership. All those who are in a place of leadership, at home or at work, are being trained and advised on how to become better leaders. This is done by one off seminars, one to one mentoring and training programmes.

Care and Counsel

We have a team of dedicated volunteers to support you in your time of need. Whether you have a mental health issue of simply struggle with difficulties in life, we want to be there for you. You can contact us by phone, email or fill in the form on the contact page. We will be in touch with you for an appointment within a week.

Caring Works

Loneliness is one of the main causes to a poor mental health. The Friendship Club has been creating a space for people to get together and fight against loneliness. We do this by organising monthly activities and annual trips for all those who are in need of friendship. Currently, this project is being redeveloped.

Kids for God

This is a ministry to children. Children's Church takes place during the Sunday morning service at 11.00 am. Children are taught in an age appropriate environment from nursery age to year 1 in high school. Kidzone takes place on a Friday night at 6.30 pm, where children have fun and learn about God.

Youth for God

Youth for God reaches out to younger people in our community, especially those who are not usually represented by traditional ministries. It has a mission emphasis, by purposely reaching out to young people of all ages in the community, creating a safe environment, away from any harmful influences.

Men for God

The purpose for this ministry is to revive the men of Ireland. The men meet on the second Tuesday night of the month for discipleship, fellowship and fun. There are annual conferences and retreats which enable men to grow together in their faith.

Women for God

The purpose for this ministry is to create an environment for women to support one another and learn together how to grow in faith. The women meet every other Monday night for a Bible study, discussion and good fun and fellowship. There are also annual conferences organised with topics related to women.

Church Planting

It is all about spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ and taking this Gospel to places that are in need. This means locally and all over the world. We aim at preparing and training church planters who are ready to pioneer church plants in Ireland (North and South) and beyond.

Media Works

This is a ministry that takes the message of transformation through the power of the Gospel and creatively spreads it through the internet and the social media. The media team is developing ways in which we can share this message using audio, video and printed materials.

Discipleship Works

The great commission was given to us to make disciples not converts. The discipleship course: Back to Basics is run every three years and/or when it becomes necessary. It aims at teaching every person the most basic elements of the Christian faith in a very dynamic and interactive way. Please contact us for more details.

Mission Works

This ministry covers the sending and supporting of missionaries as well as organising and overseeing of mission trips and opportunities to serve locally and around the world. The project involves prayer support and training teams and individuals for missions.
