Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

First of all, allow me to say how grateful I am to God for the last 10 years in Mount Zion. It has been my great privilege to serve you and the Church. I hope that you can also look back and see the blessings the Lord has bestowed upon us.

During these last 10 years the Lord has put certain things upon my heart regarding the future ministry of the Church. These things have been put together in what I believe is God’s vision for us as a Church.

Thank you for reading the brochure that comes with this letter. It outlines all the changes needed for this vision to become reality, not just a distant dream.

As you can see, the vision is much greater than our present human resources. That is why we must trust God with it. Over the last few years I had to hand it over to God. Today I can freely say that it is not longer mine. However, I am committed to God and His work, now more than at any other time in my life.

What’s next?

The elders would like a mandate from you to implement such a vision. This is both biblical and practical. Therefore we would like to ask you to join us at the next Annual General Meeting, taking place on Wednesday 29th March at 7.30 pm, in the main church building.

Here are the things we will be asking you to vote on (notice the ballot you need to fill in)

1. The vision for the Transformation Centre to become the vision of the Church.

2. Transformation Centre to become the legal name for all our activities, although we will be known as Transformation Church.

Overleaf you will find the agenda for the AGM. If you are unable to attend, you can also be part of this important decision by filling in the ballot provided, seal the envelope and put it the collection plate on Sunday. You could also send you ballot with a family member or another church member. Thank you.

Privileged to be your servant,

Pastor Nick Serb
